After continued deliberation, and with an abundance of caution, we have determined that it is in the best interest of WTA, as well as the best interest of convention participants’ well-being and safety, to once again postpone WTA’s 81st Annual Convention due to COVID-19 concerns.
Previously scheduled for May 13-15, 2020 and postponed to September 23-25, 2020, the annual 2020 WTA convention will now be held in conjunction with the annual 2021 convention, scheduled for May, 2021.
The 2021 annual convention had been scheduled to take place at the the Ramkota in Casper, and they have graciously agreed to host the convention in 2022 so that the 2020-2021 convention can be held at Little America in Cheyenne where the 2020 convention had been scheduled. WTA staff is working with both facilities to confirm dates for the conventions and we’ll advise as soon as those dates are confirmed so that you can mark your calendar. Additional information and registration forms will be available closer to those dates.
WTA’s annual convention is one of the highlights for WTA members each year. Those who participate – whether as an attendee or sponsor – are vital to the success of not only these events but the Association. It is imperative that we continue to come together as an industry in support of each other during these difficult times.
Please don’t hesitate to contact WTA staff with any questions or concerns.
We hope you, your family, your employees and their families continue to remain healthy and safe.
