Important Updates from the American Trucking Associations (ATA)
The ATA has released updates that will impact the 2026 Truck Driving Championships season:

Class Retirement Rule
Drivers who have competed at the National Truck Driving Championships in the same class for two consecutive years are required to retire from that class for the designated retirement period. Step Van competitors follow a separate retirement timeline. Drivers should review the current NTDC/NSVDC Retirement List to confirm eligibility by class. -
Accident Eligibility Request Form
The NTDC Committee has revised this form, removing the crash information section. Competitors should ensure they are using the most current version when submitting eligibility documentation. -
National Truck Driving & Step Van Driving Championships
The 2026 NTDC/NSVDC are scheduled for August 11–14, 2026, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Additional event details, schedules, and logistical information will be released by ATA as the competition approaches. -
NTDC Champion Packets
Champion packets will continue to be distributed electronically. Once champions are registered with ATA, they will receive an email containing all required information previously provided in hard-copy packets.
Registration is $200.00 per driver
